A: Yes, to rent the facility or attend Drop In Use/Open Riding you need to hold at least a Basic Membership.

Q: How do I access the facility?
A: Once you have submitted a membership form and fees, you will be set up with an app for your smartphone that will unlock the gate and doors of the facility. This app allows members convenient access while allowing the Board to track attendance. The facility can be accessed at any time and day by members. Q: Can I book the facility for tomorrow?
A: No. While you can definitely book the facility as a member, you do need to submit your booking request a minimum of 5 days prior. This gives our volunteers the chance to see your email and ensure you are on the calendar, as well as giving other members the opportunity to see that the time slot is booked. Please submit all booking requests via email: [email protected]
Q: My booking is not showing up or has an incorrect time listed on the calendar?
A: Contact us right away so it can be corrected. [email protected] Members are responsible for ensuring that their bookings are displaying correctly on the calendar, thank you for checking yours.
Q: It's June, if I buy a membership can the fees be prorated?
A: No, fees will not be prorated. Memberships are valid for the calendar year, January to December. If you feel you will not get your money's worth out of an Individual or Family membership, consider getting a Basic membership, you can always upgrade later or next year.

Q: How warm is the arena?
A: During the winter the heating system is set to keep the ambient temperature between 7 - 11 degrees. During the summer the heating system is off. Please note that during especially cold periods there can be noticeable drafts due to the large overhead doors.
Q: When does the water system run?
A: The water system runs nightly during the week at approximately 3am, however does not run on weekends. Consider not using the arena during this time as no warning is given before the system starts discharging water.
Q: When are meetings?
A: Meetings are monthly on the third Wednesday. You can find the dates in the calendar as 'SAS Meeting' under a meeting room booking, as well as in the header of the home page. Agendas and financial documents are sent out to all current members a couple days prior to each meeting. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. AGMs are held yearly in conjunction with our March meeting.
